Jester's Dorm

The prankster floated across the spacious room in complete and utter boredom, waiting for a friend to come and 'play'.

Haruhi wandered along the corridor outside with a frown on her face. Nothing seemed to be happening today and the lack of excitement was driving her insane. She didnt know half of the Arrancar in this place and she knew they would be foul-tempered anyway so she didnt bother introducing herself most of the time.

Jester heard he faint foot steps and made his door open with a loud creak as she neared it. He decided to make her his new play thing.

She looked at the unfamiliar face that poked its head out of the door and blinked slightly. Was it her they were staring at? It looked like it, anyway. Not really bothered by his presence, she stopped at his door. "Can i help you?" She asked in a curious manner as she tilted her head slightly.

He didn't answer but just smiled and faded back into the room letting out an alluring laugh that usually pulled people towards it.

"H-Hey!" She called as the strange man faded from her view. What was that about? Being curious about this new face, she stepped into the room. She looked around and tried to find him but was still pretty wary since she'd never been in another Arrancars room before. It felt slightly strange to do so.

The door slammed behind her and a low light came on revealing a little girl with a hollow mask crying in a corner.

Having a bit of a secret soft side, Haruhi was slightly drawn to the little girl. She slowly approached her although she knew that it must've been some sort of trap. She didn't dare speak or try to put a hand on the girls shoulder. She stood a short distance away from her, waiting for it to attack her or jump out at her or something like that.

The girl didn't move but the sobbing stopped. "Why did you stop" said a voice from behind her as Jester floated inches from her ear.

"I almost didnt," She said, resisting the urge to spin around when he whispered in her ear. "But then i remembered...It had to be some sort of trick. You wouldn't be able to keep a hollow girl in your room for 5 minutes before you had the Espada crawling all over you. Besides, my room is only a few dorms down, i wouldve heard her cries," She muttered as she turned her head away from the child.

He grinned as the child turned into a small puppet "You are very smart...want to play?"

She smirked slightly. A game, huh? She expected as much from someone dressed like a jester. "Sure, i'll play," She replied with a slight nod, her curiousness again getting the better of her. She shouldnt get involved with other people,but she couldnt help herself.

He smiled and whispered "Welcome to my world." As he said this the walls seemed to dissolve into complete darkness and children's laughter could be heard all around.

She looked around, doing a complete turn. She'd never heard so much laughter before, when she was alive or when she became what she was now. And the darkness was a little weird. One minute they were in a room, the next they were...Well, she had no idea where they were now. "What going on?" She had to ask.

"You are in my fun house now" Said Jester from nowhere. After a few seconds a playground appeared and children played and laughed amongst themselves, without a care in the world. As they played Jester appeared with them with a smile spread across his face but it wasn't an average smile but more sadistic instead.

She looked from the Jester to the children then back again. She noted his sadistic grin and felt a shiver go down her spine. "Your...Fun house? Whats so fun about it?" She asked, not totally sure she wanted to hear the answer to her question.

He giggled "Well there is blood and death, see." He says and snatches up one of the children by the head. The young boy looks at Jester confused then begins to cry in unbelievable agony and Jester applies pressure to the boy's skull, trying to crush it.

Something within her clenched in pain as she saw the poor boy begging to be released. A gasp escaped her lips when she saw her bore a striking resemblance to her little brother. Without even thinking, she forcefully grabbed the Jesters wrist and turned it so he let go. She bit her lip at her actions and watched the boy run away. "Gomen..." She apologised to Jester, letting him go.

He frowned "You ruined Jester's fun...now He must kill more." Jester looks at a frightened little girl with a playful yet menacing smile. "Come here and play with Jester." He pleaded with the young girl and she , strangely, came closer to him. As she closed the distance he clenched something in his pocket and had a sadistic gleam in his eyes.

She watched the poor girl get closer and closer to his grasp and shook her head. A flash of her humanity sparked into her mind as she turned away. She waited to hear screaming and pleading from his victim but couldnt watch it. She used to be a Hollow, yes, but she never had the heart to kill anything or anyone that didnt deserve such a thing.

There was no noise as Haruhi had her back to Jester and the girl, but the was no screaming. Jester giggled slightly and so did the little girl.

She blinked slightly. No screaming? No blood? She heard something different, a lot more strange. Laughing? The girl was laughing? She bit her lip and let her curiousity get the better of her as she turned around again, wondering what was going on. This man seriously confused her.
